(you're listening to your CD!)

I'm still particularly fond of the time that I learned about all of my faults, starting with the fact that the name "Melody" has no good nicknames, and ending with the fact that when we're married and have children, and you grow to hate me, you're going to have to decide between staying with the children and being miserable, and hurting the children and being happy.

Sigh...those were the days. ;)

And thus it came to be. anonymous February 22 2005, 16:32:55 UTC
The time: Perhaps one-half and six years ago.
The place: Most likely to have been Faust's Cable CTF; and in particular, the red base of q2ctf4a.

Now, I had already thought this man was a marvel, with his ping of 150, his ability to indiscriminantly smite those with a tenth that, and his tasteful use of salute animations. Among such greats, the only thing more uncommon than his use of the cyborg was the incredible integrity I witnessed in his character. However it was at this particular moment that my respect for him reached a new high. In a world where everyone, and even I, was in the habit of bullheadedly -declaring- their own orders, this man was an underdog. With an added flourish of announcing though capitalization and concurrent movement that this message was bound for repeated use, he teamspake:

"Do you want me on O or D?"

It was thus that I came to know this badass among badasses, this slayer of lamers and righteous men alike, this kicker of ass, this Pleb[LG].

:-D
