any of you locals, know about the mugging on pine st? apparantly 4 hoodlums jumped out of a car/van(?) with bats and beat 2 guys to the ground and took their belongings . . . im curious if anyone has heard of this incident
Well, I don't watch the news.. but no I never heard of such a thing.. I couldnt have seen it happenning on a Monday night because my retarded ass turned right onto that street going the wrong way and a cop walked out in front of me and told me I was going the wrong way, luckily I hadn't even started drinking yet.... it was funny how there was two cop cars out side the Blue Room for hippityHoppity night, yet there was 0 out front back booth which had free alcohol! haha

Two guys were beaten up and robbed downtown last friday night. They were walking east on Pine, I am not sure exactly where, but I think they live in a house off of Pine. Four guys jumped out from behind some bushes, one guy had a baseball bat. Apparently they knocked them unconscious and took all of their possessions.
Not totally sure how to avoid this, but, walk in groups, try to walk on the other side of the street away from hiding places off the road you walk on. I am thinking if they dont have the element of surprise, they are less likely to attack. Look intimidating maybe?
