I love all your thoughts! I want to quote everything. :D It's awesome to hear that you got to watch it at the cinema as well and dress up and get excited with fellow fans.

The intro bits were hilarious too. Were there Zygons in your theatre? :P The audience in mine were all laughing at that.

Yes they were! My sister is apparently a Zygon. Who knew.

Thank you, my dear! P.S. you were A+ in the build-up to the 50th. For some reason my flist was super quiet about it, but your posts brought me joy. Thanks for being my Doctor Who 50th buddy (even if you didn't know it /creeper)!

Aw, you're welcome! Yeah, hardly anyone on my f-list was talking about it either, but I was super excited so I just posted endlessly about it anyway.

I wore suspenders and a red bow tie, and I painted my nails 5 different designs, which include the Tardis, the Time Vortex, and a Dalek.
I’m so proud of you.

VV HAPPY TO SEE MOST PEOPLE ON MY FLIST LOVING IT. I was virtually groaning watching everything unfold because I JUST KNEW fandom would be wanking to the moon about what went down and tbqh I’m bored to death of the insufferably righteous anti-Moffat movement (IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE SHOW ANYMORE, STOP WATCHING THE SHOW. BEING ANGRY IS NOT A MORAL ACT, GODDAMN.).

You know I love me some Rose, but I wasn’t particularly disappointed she wasn’t really in it either. Mainly because, well, apart from Clara, NO COMPANIONS WERE. And the Rose/Ten references were a lot more than the other companions got.

I’m 1000% in favour of Gallifrey being saved tbh. Now we can finally move on from “his pain will go on and on and on”. THERE IS NO BAD HERE, PEOPLE.

But I, for one, am looking forward to the 12D.
Indeed.

IN CONCLUSION: POPCORN CAN FEEL PAIN.

BUT IT WAS SO DELIGHTFUL. Yeah, so now that there's been some time to ponder, I've seen various people breathing fire over the Gallifrey thing and the horror of Moffat and whatever, but to those people I say suck it. The episode was fun from start to finish.

F YOU DON’T LIKE THE SHOW ANYMORE, STOP WATCHING THE SHOW. BEING ANGRY IS NOT A MORAL ACT, GODDAMN.

JFC, BLESS. Listen, I am the first to admit that Moffat has many problems, and there are parts of these past seasons that I'm still massively wtf no about. But I don't see why the people who loathe him so much won't just fuck off. I literally saw someone say he was killing the show the other day. And, ummmm I'm pretty sure this show is still pretty alive. Reference: simulcast in 94 countries.

Also, pet peeve - WHY DO WE HAVE TO CHOOSE SIDES IN THE MOFFAT VS. RTD DEBATE? WHY CAN'T WE JUST LIKE THEM BOTH? IT'S OK TO LOVE THEM BOTH.

And the Rose/Ten references were a lot more than the other companions got. Just curious - which Rose/Ten references? Other than the 'i could kiss you ( ... )

Other than the 'i could kiss you' 'that's gonna happen' moment, which, lol, <3.

Yes. And also, you know, Billie Piper being there and "this form is someone in your future", etc.

They did not show the Strax segment on TV. NEEDS MOAR STRAX ALL AROUND TBH.

Lol, the mere existence of Billie Piper is a Ten/Rose reference. Not that I can disagree.

DID YOU SEE THE SEGMENT THO? For your viewing pleasure (forgive the awful quality, tis all I could find on the youtube):
