That is a seriously amazing theatre list. I am officially jealous. Did you also get to see Henry V? It's been getting terrific reviews.

It was GLORIOUS. I keep wanting to talk about it, but my rl friends aren't into theatre, and I think my family is growing tired of my flailing.

Alas, I didn't see Henry V. I like Jude Law well enough, but I saw a PHENOMENAL production of Henry V at the Globe last year, and when decisions had to be made (there simply is not enough time to see everything!), I was happy to see other things. Though Henry V is one of my favourite plays.

Ha, I wonder when she saw it? We could have been there the same day! Good review, that. Thanks for this! And lollll, that shower scene. I wasn't aware this was something being talked about. But boy am I down to talk about it.

It really was a stunning production of a tricky play, so I was thrilled to see it. I fit it in at the last minute, so it was kind of a treat for me. And T-Hids is captivating. Yes, that sounds tres dramatique, but really. Love the Hiddleston.

Yesss, I am so glad they're screening it! My sister and I are already planning on seeing the screening, just because it was that good, and lord knows I'm a rewatcher. But I am very pleased I saw it live. The Donmar really is a unique space for theatre. Have you ever been?

LIIIIZZZZZZ. I was LITERALLY just asking Alex where you were yesterday and why the fuck you weren't back yet. So... glad that worked.

WHO HERE LIKES THEATRE AND WANTS TO TALK ABOUT IT?

LOL WE ALREADY KNOW THIS. Tell me about your ~theatre and I will tell you about mine and then we can be jealous of each other (except I got hugs from Zac Levi so I WIN BITCHES).

We double up some days so we don't spend our entire trip in tiny British theatres, and let me tell you, double header days are FUN.

Heh, I have done this in NY before. I don't understand why people think it's weird. Like, staying overnight in NYC is expensive as FUCK yo, if I'm gonna go see a show, I might as well see FOUR.

EEEEEEEE. Yes, your magical siren call brought me home.

I KNOW YOU LIKE THEATRE. I was just opening up the question. Though we should really talk about it even more than we already do.

Yes, one must maximize one's time for theatre. I HAVE PRIORITIES, DAMNIT.

I can't claim to know anything about the state of Australian theatre. But sometimes there are screenings of shows, no? I go to those here (I full on plan to rewatch Coriolanus when it screens here in a month - I AM A REWATCHER).

I will make you talk about Doctor Who eventually. This is a thing that will happen.

THESE MEN, THOUGH. THESE FLAWLESS MEN. HOW DOES NORMAL LIFE EVEN COMPARE?

I noticed that you left! And BOO to sickness. I think that I must be the only person in the universe who doesn't like Love Actually. Because I don't. I would rather stick jelly beans up my nose than watch it again.

HOW DO YOU LIVE LIFE AGAIN AFTER BEING IN THE SAME ROOM AS BEN WHISHAW?! Was his hair totally floppy?

Yayyyyy hello!

Noooooo you actively HATE Love Actually? I know others who are not quite so keen on it as I am, but man, why do you hate it? Tell me how the other half lives.

HOW DO YOU LIVE LIFE AGAIN AFTER BEING IN THE SAME ROOM AS BEN WHISHAW?!

I SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW. WHAT IS LIFE NOW THAT I HAVE HAD BEN WHISHAW AND YET HAVE HIM NO LONGER. His hair actually wasn't floppy - the play was set in the 70s, so it was all gelled back. But he was fucking mesmerizing - YES, MESMERIZING, I WENT THERE.

I could not honestly tell you why I hate it. I feel much the same way about Notting Hill. And I'm pretty ambivalent about Bridget Jones. And it's unlike me because I am a chick flick girl all the way. I think though that I don't really like 90% of romcoms, perhaps that is the problem. Because I ADORE the Notebook, but there's not a whole heap of laughs there. So I think the forced hilarity is my problem. I don't find it funny most of the time. And I resent being told that I should. And the plot is too implausible. I don't know. I suck, clearly!

PROBABLY YOUR LIFE WILL NEVER GET BETTER THAN THE DAY THAT YOU BREATHED THE SAME AIR AS BEN WHISHAW. MESMERIZING IS A GOOD WORD. I BET HE WAS.
