I liked Crash and was glad it won becuase I though it was really good. but overall, last year wasn't brilliant for movies anyway

i HATED crash. i'm glad you get that too! dude, hollywood history class represent! you're right, brokeback should have won. that, or walk the line. but not crash. no way. *sigh*

haha, im glad we think alike on this subject. I saw Walk The Line for the first time on Saturday afternoon and loved it. The acting was super!

"Capote" was a better movie than both 'Brokeback Mountain" and "Crash".
I'm not sure "Brokeback Mountain" was considerably better than "Crash", since it too was flawed enough to warrant a debate if it won. However, as Ivan Hernandez said, "Crash" was 'overdone'.
Does this mean you've stopped being all about the Academy Awards?
I hope so! The Oscars suck!

it does speak volumes. I still love the Oscars, but every year I take them less and less seriously. I'm totally obsessed with the acting awards though

I loved it too! Reese Witherspoon won Best Actress, at every awards show, including the Oscars.
