Ok so Ira does this, that means I must try it. Its been a while since I have done a LJ entry and a while since I have done a survey, but I will give it my best and hope all goes well.
Enjoy!
1. What did you do in the first half of 2010 that you'd never done before? I hosted a week of events at the Artist Bloc. I got to work with 2 playwrights, 6 teams of artists and one Hip-Hopera to develop them further and assist the artists in taking steps forward. It was a very humbling and powerful week that taught me a lot of how to lead talk backs better, and how to truly get artists to think differently about the feedback they are getting.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't really make New Years Resolutions, but I should. I know this year I resolved to get my health a bit better, and well I have tried some. I went to a sleep specialist to get my Sleep Apnea looked at...that was 2 months ago and I have not heard back from him...which is worry some. I have also resolved in the second half of the year to do something physical, I think like Yoga, I need to get my weight down...It is really making me depressed, I have also resolved to try eating more Vegetables...which is not working out so well...but I will keep trying.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yup, one of my bosses had a baby, and Megan's best friend is about to give birth.
3A. Did anyone get married? Yup, Scott Woltz got married and I was at that shit. It was kinda crazy and cool...but it was nice to see a relationship build from start to marriage.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i.happier or sadder? I think I am much sadder, but I am showing it less. I am putting on a brave face for as many as I can, but overall I am very sad and wish I could make myself better and happier, but I am having a very hard time losing weight and this is making me more depressed because I feel ugly and I disgust myself right now. 34. What kept you sane? Well I don't feel very sane, I feel very crazy. I mean its weird, cause I feel like my life is sort of just all over the place and there have been three occasions recently when I met up with old friends. One was in the last half of last year, I think, but maybe it was early on in this year. I met up with Ira and Paul Diem and Paul said that he had heard I have been doing amazing things in DC...it was weird. Then I saw Peter Wray, this college professor I had for a while that had been working on a show with some friends of mine, and he had said something similar that he had heard of the good I was doing in DC and that he was very impressed. Then I went to Scott and Leigh-Erin's wedding and both Jamie and Bre told me that they had spoken to different people in DC theatre and that everyone knew me. That they were impressed with what the heard I was doing and how many people knew my name.
All this is very weird, cause I know that I have met a lot of people and had some interesting conversations with cool people, but I still feel like I have done nothing and that I have accomplished nothing and I suck and just not cool...I dont' know why people like me and why I have friends, I feel like everyone should hate me or not want to be around me.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I don't understand this question.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? I tend not to get stirred by politics, I think that comes from growing up in a political household.

38. Who was the best new person you met? Holly from Baltimore has become a cool foodie friend, and yeah thats about it really.
