What a Finally for Supernatural

Wow! I have seen that everyone in LJ is either devastated, excited, happy, and or mad about the season finaly of supernatural. I have read some great reviews and some anger outbursts :P. Though I was happy with most of the finally I did feel like it left me somewhat empty. I didnt understand why Sam was looking at Dean at the end, kinda sad.

Put me down in the happy but broken camp. I thought it was awesome. Whatever Sam is now--and someone did say way back that letting Lucifer in would change him forever, right?--I think he's sad because he's a) either come to disrupt Dean's life because there's a mission that needs doing, or b) sad that he can't be with his brother or let Dean know he's alive because he doesn't want to change Dean's life.

I know a lot of people were pissed about the "fans will always bitch" line, but I laughed and nodded, because he's totally right. No matter how good the ending is, not everyone is going to be happy.

I was cracking up when I heard that line. I think fans shouldnt take it to seriously. Besides it is true :-P , fans are hard to please, lol i know first hand.

And I like both your options regarding Sams sad look at the end. I too hope it is one of them.
