2 Corinthians 3
17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Matthew 17:14-20
The Healing of a Boy With a Demon
14When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. 15"Lord, have mercy on my son," he said. "He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him."
17"O unbelieving and perverse generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me." 18Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
19Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"
20He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
James 1:1-8
1James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations:
Greetings.
Trials and Temptations
2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.
Now, many of you don't know much about me as the founder of
seekinghisface, but Christ has rebuked my demons troubling me in my life. I've gotten to witness firsthand the power of the Living God.
Well, today, I went to a healing center at a large church with the intention of having a pastor pray over me because I've been afflicted recently with this weird sickness where every time I'd get really intimate in conversation with the Lord I'd either become confused or I'd get sick to my stomach and start spitting up flem.
Consider those verses listed off and ask yourself whether you really believe the Bible at its Word. Do you really believe that the Bible is the infalliable Word of God or do you pick and choose what makes sense to you? The more I grow in the Lord, the more I take it at face value. Certainly, some Christians live with illnesses but they shouldn't be vulnerable to spiritual attacks from the enemy.
Hallelujah! Immediately, when I stepped out in faith and agreed with the pastor in dismissing by the blood of Jesus spirit of confusion and sickness and what the enemy was throwing at me that was effecting my worship, Bible reading, and prayer, wow! I might have a temperature right now, but my body changed and more importantly the communication lines with God Almighty are clear again.
And yes, the enemy wants to bring it all back again. But then God just has me rebuke Him right back. It's great I feel so fatigued yet able to rejoice at the top of my lungs in praise at the same time.
Friends, whereever you are at, do not pass up the moment's push of the Spirit for you to draw near to Him and bring your burdens to Him. If you're trust isn't there, ask for it. Amen!
Above all, seek to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul and follow what the Bible and the Spirit through it tells you, no matter who leads you otherwise.
Because although denominations don't agree... God is consistent. His Word is unchanging and He is waiting to heal you from spiritual infirmities-- in His time-- at His perfect will.
I pray right now for this Body that has truly touched my heart. Each person here is brought to You for a reason oh Lord and I place my faith in You that You will touch lives even today-- that the flood gates of Heaven will open to pour out the intimacy of the Holy Spirit.
Let Your name be praised.

Pray for my co-worker at work who was hungry for the Word today and wants desperately to be saved. She is confused because she believes from her church that some of the key principles of being saved are not smoking, not having sex, etc. Please lift her up in prayer that God would touch her heart by any means possible.
God Bless you guys,
Dan
