Well, lets look at the dream symbols....

- Car - denotes the need to travel, to move on and ahead in one's life, the urge to get going with some idea or project.

- police/police car - a symbol of responsibility, the need to obey set rules and imposing restrictions.

- friends - may not be totally relevant, only that they seem to push responsibility onto you.

AND MY ANALYSIS...

I think that you have a string desire to move on in your life, to conquer new territories and what have you. However, certain people or situations around you might restrict you from being that "free spirit". I think that this dream is trying to tell you to face responsibility and allow yourself to progress, don't hold back :)

I do feel the need for travel, and getting out of my so-called-cage of a hum-drum life, lately. To drive away in a car sounds wonderful to me, since I don't own a car. I feel more responsibility as of late. :/
