Ok, i think i've joined the Twilight frenzy now. I hadn't read the book before watching the movie, i started backwards. I watched the movie and i liked it but after reading the book, i thought the book was way better because we got to really see and feel how Bella and Edward's relationship developed.

Don't kill me Rosie! But who's the guy who plays Jasper? I don't think he's that well known in Mexico. He was hot in the Baseball scene, though!

He's actually not that well known here either. His name is Jackson Rathbone and he did a season and a half of a show here a few years ago (Beautiful People) but it didn't have a good following. He's only really blown up because of Twilight.

Oh i see! Well he's gaining a lot of fans now! I still can't get over that flip (or move) he does with the baseball bat! lol

I did the opposite of what you did, I read the books first, and then watched the movie... And I agree with you, I think they could have both given more depth to it... I think Bella was ok in the end (after watching it again hehe) but I wasn't very impressed for Edward! I think he looks good for it, but maybe because he's still very young, he didn't manage to give all those emotions that are in the book!
And yea, in the movie everything was definitely more rushed and seemed more like a 'teenage' first love then a struggle, like it was in the book...
But good luck reading the last two books! I have just finished Breaking Dawn and loved it :)

I think that people who read the books first and then watched the movie were more disappointed, specially with a lot of important parts that were taken or didn't make the movie.
