Clover Point BaCC - Fall 3 with the Binchys!
Hi there!
It's time for a new chapter of my BaCC. Things are going slow and steady... I wish I was progressing at a faster speed, but I guess to each his own. The important thing is that I keep going and Clover Point will get bigger, even if it takes some time...
We're with the Binchys, this time. Last rotation, Primrose found a job in athletics and Ted opened their first store, It's My Party. They both kept digging to find items to sell, while their daughter, Louise, first became a toddler and then a child. Their son, Gilbert, became a teenager.
That's them! Primrose and Ted in the back, with Gilbert waving akwardly in the front and little Louise coming to join them for the family photo.
The season started with Ted improving his charisma.
And then, Prim and him opened It's My Party. As you can see, it now has actual walls, windows and a roof! No more lawn selling, especially since it's Fall. Those renovations left the Binchys with a wooping $62 in their bank account.
So, Prim decided to dig...
... while Ted took care of the customers. Why break with tradition, right?
Ted is really worried about their finances! Understandable. That's why he went straight to writing another novel when he got home!
Gil, on the other hand, was having a smoother day. He brought home his good friend Tammy Albee after school and they hung out for a while.
Gilbert thought Tammy was really pretty, so he decided to try his luck and tell her...
Luckily, she was feeling the same way and they spent the rest of the afternoon cuddling on the couch. Aww, teenagers!
Just as she was about to go back to her place, Gilbert kissed her! Cute! I'm not sure if they will become an official couple, since they have only one bolt, but we'll see, it's a definite possibility.
The next morning, Gilbert practiced his guitar skills.
And after that, he went to It's My Party with his dad. Things were looking up. Ted got his bronze sales badge while Gil managed the cash register and the store finally reached rank 1. Of course, the money perk was chosen. They need it. Believe me!
"Mom! Mom! I got a B+ in my report card!"
"That's great, sweetheart! Mom is really proud of you!"
"Mom, why do you smell like that?"
"Oh, Mom had a hard day at work, but it's all worth it because I got promoted."
"I love you, Mom."
Louise goes to greet her parents at the door almost every day. She's a sweet girl!
That day, she brought a friend from school. His name is Zion and I guess he thinks he looks cool in his dragon suit. The important thing is that Louise has fun with him :)
After school, Gilbert went to the store with Ted, once again. This time, his dad minded the cash register while he restocked. Ted is serving my simself, who you'll officially meet at the end of the rotation, but she doesn't seem really impressed with his skills...
I wonder if that's how I really look when I'm pissed off... I'll have to ask my boyfriend, ha!
Gilbert put my simself back in a good mood. How? Easy!
"Have you seen the last Game of Thrones episode?"
"Oh my gosh, yes!"
Meanwhile, Ted was attempting to sell some balloons to my boyfriend's simself. I think it worked because It's My Party reached Rank 2 and Ted got his silver sales badge.
Zion came home with Louise again that afternoon.
"Tag! You're it!"
They are so cute to watch play!
And this picture is just to show how pretty Louise is... I love her!
She also called her best friend Davy Kratz over and introduced him to Zion. The three of them had a lot of fun together.
But Louise left them as soon as she heard her mother coming home.
"Mom! You're here!"
"Hi, sweetie! Did you have a good day?"
"Oh yes! You? Did you get another promotion?"
"I did! But now, let's go do your homework."
Later that night, as Gilbert slept, Ted decided to repair the computer, that was broken again. He needed it to finish his novel. But then, someting went wrong and he felt a burst of electricity run through him.
"UGH!"
Gilbert woke up as soon as he heard his father's scream.
"Dad! What's happening! DAD!"
Prim rushed to the room when she heard Gil's voice.
"Oh my! Ted! Oh no!"
"Mom, what's going on, why is Dad not talking? Why is he shaking like that?!?"
"Another electrocution! Oh, Ted! Please hang on!"
It was all very traumatic. But in the end, Ted was perfectly fine. Since this was his third electrocution (poor guy), he opened a spot in the science career. And he got the computer working again. What a man!
Meanwhile, Louise was completely unaware of the drama happening inside.
Ted got to finish his novel and it sold well. It did not become a best seller, but it still brought $2K and allowed the family to pay their taxes.
Ted opened the store one last time before the end of the season. As you can see, there is now wallpaper. We're slowly getting there!
Anyhoo, Ted finally got his gold sales badge, although he's still not very good with the cash register. It doesn't matter, since he brought the store to rank 3. Yay!
Back home, he decided to take advantage of his misadventures and take the job in science that was available.
After school, Louise decided to raise her fun bar by doing this all on her own.
This is the first time ever I see this action action in my game and it's just so darn cute! Love, love, love her!!!
While his siter was busy blowing bubbles, Gil had other things on his mind.
And inside, Ted was playing some guitar.
Gilbert decided it was about time he learned how to make mac & cheese and served dinner.
Ted left for his first day (well, night) of work as a test subject...
... and Louise and Prim were both VERY excited.
"Mom! Mom! I got an A+! I did it!"
"Louise! Louise! I'm an All Star! I did it!"
They celebrated their sucesses, jumping up and down on the sidewalk.
And we end the chapter with Ted coming home with a promotion, too! All in all, it was a very good season for the Binchys! :)
