Clover Point - Rice update!
Hi!
I knew real life would make it harder to play and to update regularly, but I'm still doing the BaCC challenge and it's time for a new chapter! Get ready to see the Rices again :)
So, here they are! In the back, Carla and Walter and in the front their two sons, Oliver, the eldest, and Hugo, the youngest. They are both teenagers now.
Hugo started the season by bringing Phoebe Stratton home from school and making friends with her.
Oliver was busy tending the garden in the green house.
But Hugo still took the time to introduce his brother to Phoebe, just in case they could get along really well...
But there was no chemistry between them, and Oli prefered doind the crossword puzzle in the paper.
Walter came back with a promotion :) He's now a Junior Executive.
Then, Hugo worked in the garden for a little bit...
... and even earned his bronze gardening badge!
All the while Oli did his homework.
And it was him who harvested the very first tomatoes.
Because Hugo was busy playing (and cheating at) chess with Phoebe. Yes, he's a mean one.
Carla also did her part with the gardening by planting some more tomatoes.
Walt and her made sure to spend some time at Rice for All, where they were now selling fresh produce from their garden. Walter also got his silver restocking badge.
Back home, it was yoga time for Carla.
Hugo worked on his painting skills.
And Oliver spent some time fishing. He's not very good... he catches a lot of boots! But it's important that he get better since he's the one who will inherit the house and the grocery store and he will need to keep it stocked in fresh fish... eventually.
And because I've never tried it before, I had Hugo get a part-time job in his chosen field, athletics.
Since Phoebe was not Oli's type, I had him meet other girls. This is Deirdre Johnston, who has a horrible hairstyle, but who actually has quite nice facial features.
They had a lot of fun playing punch you punch me.
Deirdre was very receptive to Oliver's advances...
They soon develop a crush on each other and shared their first kiss. Awww!
Meanwhile, Carla was planting some more seed in the greenhouse.
And Hugo was leaving for his first day at work.

Things were getting serious with Deirdre and Oliver introduced her to his mother over dinner. Walter was at work, unfortunately.
Oh no! Hugo got fat from all the sparkly food! This won't do, especially since he wants to top the athletic career... But good news, he came back from work with a promotion and is now a Locker Room Attendant.
Over at Rice for All, Walter made sure to stock the brand new displays with fresh produce. The tomatoes were selling very well!
Thanks to Walt and Carla's efforts, Rice for All reached level 5!
Hey, guys! I know you're all really focus on the jog you're about to go on, but don't you notice anything odd? No? Oh... okay, then!
"Woo! Look at me, I'm fit and strong again! Look, Dad!"
"That's great, son. Keep on going on those jogging runs, I'm proud of you! But are you really comfortable in that unitard?"
"Uh, yes! It's the most comfortable thing ever!"
"If you say so..."
Hugo is very confident and sure of himself.
Silver gardening badge for Oliver!
You guys may not remember it, but Hugo is a Scorpio and he LOVES to clean. And he does it so often that now, he had bubbles following him at all times! :) Another first for me! Haha!
Carla really wanted to go on a hike, so I let her, but she came back with bees chasing her... This ALWAYS happens. *sigh* Stupid game.
Since Hugo had a day off from work, he went to the brand new Clover Point Sports Center with Emma Blythe, his neighbour.
They played basketball...
... and a short game of soccer.
After that, Emma wanted to show her store to Hugo, so she took him to Furry Friends. That's where Hugo first saw Shaun Inada. He was immediately attracted to him.
I know there has not been a lot about Walter this update, but he's doing fine, still working on reaching the top of the business career. He is now a Senior Manager.
So, now we know that our Hugo is into boys!So, now that we know that our Hugo is into boys, it was time for him to try and meet someone... Unfortunately, his first attempts were not very succesfull.
But then, he met Aren Kramer, the guys who works at Rice for All, and they talked about their crushes for hours... until Aren mentionned Walter. That's when Hugo changed the subject. Who wants to be told his dad is hot?!?
Hugo could tell Aren was into him and he did not reject his little flirting hints. He couldn't wait to see him again... maybe at the store!
Elsewhere, Oliver finally got his bronze fishing badge.
After that, he went with his mom to Rice for All and got his bronze and then his silver selling badge. Good work, Oli! As for Carla, she got her gold cash register badge. Together, Oliver and Carla brought the store to rank 6.
A little more fishing before the season ends...
And we end this update with Hugo coming back from work with another promotion, which means he has toped the athletic career... for now!
