This rocks so hard I don't really know where to start. I love the tension you create from the beginning description of Space. You bring home how dreadfully bleak and dangerous Space actually is. I love how you made this story bittersweet, because that’s how it is on the show. This line PERFECTLY describes how each *heavy* life is in Galactica ( ... )

Thanks so much for the lovely feedback! And sorry I didn't reply for so long - I've been away for a long time. I'm really glad you liked the fic so much. I'm also happy to hear the Space bits worked, as I was sick and crochety when I wrote this and suspected that the things that seemed entertaining to me in that mood might make no sense to anyone else.

This was really good. I like the interaction between them, it was a return to when things were still good and cute between them. The arrow of apollo bit was really funny. I really liked the part with Helo (because he's awesome).

OMG! About the arrow? I was thinking the same thing when I finally got a good look at it! It looks like they forgot to make the *real* one so one of the prop guys had to raid his 6 year old daughter's craft bucket at the last minute. "I need more gold paint!" "Get me some sparklies! Should we use glitter?" "No!" "Alright then, more sparklies!" "And Elmer's glue!"

Anyhoo, loved the snark! That's always the best part of a Kara/Lee fic if it's done right - and this was done right! *loves!* Drunken pilots are infinitely entertaining!

This is made of win. But I'm surprised that with all the comments about the humour, no one mentioned the funniest line 'the drool of Apollo'. I totally snorted when I read that.
Bravo. I'm making my way back through all your fic, but you may never see all these comments - I dunno - do people go back and read comments after two years?
