Great use of history, great banter. What a nice way to count down 1 more week! (And wow that you wrote a new K/L fic, considering it's been a while; I just reread Angle of Descent last night and sighed myself into K/L oblivion.) :->

Thank you!

Thanks, and thanks for commenting. Glad to hear my oldies are still in circulation as well... OMG why is it not Oct. 6 yet?!

I love this. Maybe this line, most of all - always knew how to light up a room with the things that flared between them like feedback from a microphone - but really, all the snark and the love that sparks between them. K/L being buddycops is pretty much my favorite thing about BSG.

I had a really sad, bad-news day yesterday, not that you would have any way of knowing that, but this is about the best cheer-up present that I could've gotten. (this, and wisteria_ distracting me with fic! :0))

*hugs*

So sorry to hear about your bad news, and happy I could do a bit to distract you. Always glad to do my bit in combating the real world. And am (somewhat irrelevantly) amused by how easy it is to write total K/L without the faintest bit of sex in it...

Wow, this is the best fic I've read in a long time. It was absolutely fantastic, and it fit them so well.

Thanks so much! Glad to hear it seemed in character, as there were a few moments I was worried about (it just took so long to finish I didn't have the energy to revise any more).

one of the few things worth a return to fandom: fic by you. Just gorgeous, Daphnaea. Beyond insightful, at times, and written subtly and sparingly. I can't help but envy your skill.

*adores and memories* thank you for sharing.

Aww, thanks! Glad it didn't nosedive from 'subtle' into 'boring', as there were extended periods when I was writing this when I had no idea where the thing was going, and excessive dialogue often equates with self-indulgent writing in which nothing happens. Although in another sense I guess this is more plotty than what I usually write. I hate writing plot. I'm too lazy for it, I don't like having to figure out how things happen (I only care about how they affect the people involved). Anyway, I'm still hoping for more "Contraventions" some day...
