She did felt a small pang of guilt for rushing out the way she did, Terry deserved more than a cold, empty bed. When he arrived, the warmth of the fireplace drew him inside, a grin tugging at his lips already when the aesthetic of the place finally hit him.
It certainly was something.
"Miss Greengrass-" he called, catching sight of her.

A few other things came to mind that Daphne knew she shouldn't exactly be thinking about.
"Mr. McLaggen, please call me Daphne," she insisted, hand stretched out to greet him.

"Right, of course-" he said, a sheepish laugh catching in his throat. "But only if you call me Cormac-"
He took a swift look around before looking back to Daphne.
"You weren't wrong about this place-"

"Fantastic, isn't it? It's just so charming," she mused, enjoying the look on his face as he took everything in.
"I had them prepare a sampling for the two of us as well. I hope you haven't eaten-"
