Slytherin Common Room: Open

It was late Sunday evening and Daphne was curled up on the sofa with her little sister, Astoria. It had been a long and eventful weekend down in Hogsmeade. For the first time, Daphne was realizing what it felt like to be absolutely mentally exhausted. As it turned out, Draco would be joining them tonight. As if on cue, he appeared through the passageway in the grey stone wall, entering the commonroom from the castle. He noticed the brunettes cuddling up on the sofa... with chocolate.. He knew about Daphne, and he knew about her love for foreign chocolate, and he was not going to be satisfied with a simple hello.

He approached the back of the sofa and leaned down on his elbows, his face behind both girls.

What've we got here? Not really worried much about startling them.

"Draco!" Astoria sat up quickly, straightening out her posture. She plastered on a her little face.

Daphne also smiled, but not nearly as much as her sister. In fact, she almost laughed at the way Astoria jumped for him. She hoped that it was not the way that she looked around her blonde best friend. It was certainly the way she had acted years ago.

"Would you like a chocolate?" the younger Greengrass offered, holding out the box.

"Please do, Draco," Daphne drawled, sleepy and relaxed, "They're your favorite."

Draco's gaze flitted down to Daphne's little sister, a lovely girl if not young, and he cast his most charming smile towards her.

Oh is that so? Well, if you would be so kind. He plucked a chocolate from the case and moved to lean against the back of the couch. He moved the truffle against his mouth and let it melt a little there for a moment. He licked the confection from his lips.

Mmmm, delightful. And where are these from?

"Mummy just sent these from Germany along with our favorite teas from India," the smaller Greengrass went on to explain. There was an excitement in her voice. Astoria, like Daphne, had a sweet tooth for only expensive chocolates. It was pointless to waste their calories on common, every day 'treats' that tasted more like dry cocoa than rich truffles.

"Would you like to try one of our teas? I'm sure a house elf could find us a cup of hot water for steeping."
