Daphne had never worked so hard for anything in her life. After weeks of actually studying, she was completely exhausted. It also didn't help that at least twice a week she would sneak out to see Terry after curfew. The long days were starting to take a toll on her. But thankfully, exams were over.

"Well don't you look happy?" Pansy drawled, stealing one of the macaroons and taking a ginger bite. It was rare for snacks to be left out in their group, given some of the boys' appetites.

"And what's that you're wearing?" she asked innocently.

Daphne looked up and smiled at Pansy. They hadn't spend as much time together as usual.

"It's..." Daphne looked down at the cardigan, smiling. "I'm starting a new trend. For casual wear of course."

Harper had just left from practicing and had his father's owl tucked in the corner of his pocket far from sight.

Daniel entered the common room hunched over when he saw Daphne and Pansy sharing the macaroon treats.

"Evening, ladies." he half nodded in a gloom like state.

"You're looking down, Harper. You need a macaroon," Daphne said, feeling generous. Her cardigan still smelled faintly of Terry and it put a smile on her face.

"They're delicious."
