Is it right to comfort?  I mean, other people's tragedies bring out this urge to cover the evil of the world, to say such overly genuine things like "but there is Goodness too."  But what do I know?  He's an abuser, she's plagued by demons, she sabotages her friends, he lies...  and I don't know that any of the joy outweighs that.
