That's cool. It's amazing that you wrote a novel in a week. I'm sort of doing a "rebel" thing this year too, since my NaNo is more like random vignettes than a coherent novel. And I totally inserted pieces of my thesis into it. I feel like once you've done NaNo once or twice and won it traditionally, you're free to set your own goals.
I always called you crazy for a reason. But seriously, go ahead and FEEL BETTER. Don't make writing a taxing bore, you don't like it and readers can tell most of the time. Do what makes you happy.
Just btw, OMG DARREN CRISS ON GLEE I HAD NO FLIPPING IDEA AND I FLIPPED A SHIT WHEN I SAW HIM. I was all, "Dude, that looks just like--yeah, that's--that's Harry fucking Potter. Oh my God, it's Darren Criss. THAT'S DARREN CRISS. OH MY GOD." And then proceeded to go out and dance in the hallway and squeal and flip out and post on Facebook and have my roommate look at me like I was nuts, which I totally was because DARREN CRISS. In other words, I cannot WAIT until tomorrow night so I can see MORE DARREN CRISS ON GLEE. <3

As per Renee's advice, I'm going to stop saying "I quit nanowrimo," and start saying, "Yeah, I finished nanowrimo on day five."
Because it makes me sound awesome.
