However... word on the street is that come January, Christopher Eccleston will be joining the cast of Heroes(!) This makes my little fangirl heart go "SQUEEE!!!" & has elicited many raspy honks of joy from my rather abused throat.

Now off to find some tea (for fixing poor throat). =)

Heh. Christopher Eccleston. The guy who made the crew of Top Gear go find a Suzuki Liana with an automatic transmission (of which only 40 existed in England), because he's too lame to drive a manual.

Seems like a charming guy, though my first impression of him was as the villain in the 2000 remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds." His best line: "Am I an asshole, do I look like an asshole?" (Nick Cage replies, "well, yeah.")

Sorry to hear you're sick, but I think there might've been a bug passed around at the party last Sat night. I can tell I've been fighting something off, successfully, but several others seem to be down with the sickness.

No problem! I'd recommend Heroes even if Eccleston wasn't joining the cast - the characters are interesting, the plot actually moves along, and it's much more compelling then most of the sitcom dreck currently masquerading as good television.

On a related note, has there been any more news regarding the revival of The Prisoner?
