Would anyone be interested in going to see "The Fountain" at E Street this Saturday night? Possibly as a movie/dinner type thing, seeing as how Tom & Ivy will be in town...

I think Kayla and I would be up for that.

Something not overly expensive, but near E-Street. Shawn knows a few good places down there.

Just to warn you, but greenbriar didn't think much of it... it is just an opinion though, you could check out what she wrote about it for details.

I'm not completely wedded to the movie, necessarily - more the idea of 'let's eat & go see stuff'.

I second that emotion.

We would be for that. As long as it isn't too late of a movie. After all, the whole reason we will be in town is for Ivy to take a test Sunday, and I imagine she will need a good nights sleep.

Damn you and your being sensible, man! ^_^

It's true, though. I think it may need to be movie, then dinner, or early dinner before movie. But I'd love to go!!

No problem - the idea was more of 'let's get together & feed & stuff!' than anything else. *g* Of course, it also helps when my husband tells me the correct test day... but I'm assuming you'd be up for a dinner-type thing in DC?

Just don't be suprised, like I was, when it isn't a costumed adventure -D&D style- about finding the fountain of Life. (yes that is really waht I thought was going to see.) Their is a man in a bubble and you may have to think a little hard to firgure out how all of the movie gose together. It wsn't bad, but don't expect brainless action adventure.

I'm sure you all knew that already. I'm just putting it out there.
