This weekend was a dilly!Friday night I drove through the sleat and rain to visit my good pals Nick and Alex in NYC. I finally replaced my windshield wipers before departing from Boston. I probably would have died without them on this trip. When I got down there I occupied Nick for a while until a surprise could be sprung upon him. I was all like ( Read more... )

oh that's too bad I didn't know you were there. we had a really good time...I have all these old bottle caps that I got off of eBay, so I want to have some of those designs tattooed on my arm. Serge suggested bottle caps on my elbows which is a good idea. I'm glad I had the Moxie stuff done first. I know it will always be my favorite.

hey buddy, your memory of friday is crazy! our friend joe's name is actually dave (though he always introduces himself as david), the drummer from the rapture was their and the singer of !!! was there (i know because his name is also nick, which we had a conversation about last year and again on friday, though i didn't know who he was either time), and our friend ian's name is liam (pretty close) and i was the one talking to him, not alex, who went to do karaoke.
man, i had a blast! i wish we could hang out every weekend. what are you doing the weekend after thanksgiving? i'll probably be in MA.

man you're right! my memory is all screwed and chopped up. hahaha. good thing you're here to fill these blanks in. and also, I'll have no excuse with the names of Liam and Dave next time. I will practice remembering them. Also, I really want to do this soda zine. we can start working on it even though we're not in the same city. sadly, the weekend after thanksgiving I will be working on the saturday, but I will be up for most anything friday night, saturday night, and all day sunday. Also, I doubt I will be with my family all day on thanksgiving itself, so who knows!

It's funny how everyone seems to have gone to NYC when I was in Boston.
Did you get my message?
I guess I'll see you next time.
(In two weeks, perhaps?)
It sounds like you had a blast.
love,
caroline.

yeah, I got your message but my cell phone has been all fucked up and it barely works. I'm waiting for a new one to arrive soon. I might need to get everybody's phone numbers again. Are you going to be home for Thanksgiving? I had an awesome time in NYC and Philly. I think next time I will need to road trip to a different city though. I'll pick up the Curtins and then maybe we'll go to Baltimore or something. who knows.

I won't be home for Thanksgiving, but I will be home the next day.
(Just in time for Critical Mass!)
Baltimore is good fun.
(But I feel like that's mostly true in the summertime.)
love,
caroline.
