I went to see the Alrighters last night at the Middle East. their free Sunday night shows have been pretty awesome. last weekend was the Stumbleweeds. It all reminds me though that the Rockabilly scene in Boston died two years ago and the only people left are the same ones you see every fucking time. the Alrighters were a lot of fun - they covered

I don't know what the Sunset Grille is like but "grille" and "sunset" make it sound like a hippie food restaurant. I ate at Luncheonette Fountain today. Now that's a name for a restaurant. I'm going to be in MA in a couple of weeks. I'm thinking about doing something like asking for a week off work, because there might be a lot of things I want to do there. (Mostly going to record stores).

yeah it's your birthday soon right! Serge and I were talking about that and about how your friend opened a record store in NH.

the sunset grille isn't a hippe place at all - it's like an independently owned Applebees type place. they serve over 100 types of beer or something. everywhere you look there are beer signs/posters/bottles, etc. the menu is really varied and the sandwich I got was pretty awesome. I really don't think I would have ever gone there had those kids not brought me there.

I miss the Luncheonette Fountain. you're a lucky man to live so close to it.
