Hatter's seen Scooby Doo, and his initial inclination was to pull an 'are you a mirror' move, raise one hand, lower one hand, stick out a tongue, stand on one foot, turn around and then back again suddenly. Fortunately, he has enough composure not to do that.

He doesn't, however, have the capacity to hold himself back from poking Connor on the forehead.
