John Barrowman - incredibly, incredibly hot. Seriously. If I was straight, I'd go gay for him. Luckily enough I'm already footloose and fancy free, da? :D

I really look forward to hearing more of your thoughts of Torchwood. I was kind of baffled and unimpressed by the first two eps, then enjoyed Ghost Machine (and my opinion of Owen did a 180 from "ew, grrr" to "OMG HE ROCKS"), then was traumatised and upset by... Small Worlds and Countrycide, and then got on okay with the series after that.
I think it does have a very different feel, it can often be darker and, yeah, less quirky. Sometimes I really like it, sometimes I am very cross with it ^^
*rubs hands* Thanks for the reviews you did leave! Twas very nice :D

My first Owen impression was, "oh god just another snarky asshole pervert well whatever this is Doctor Who-related, he'll probably get better," but then when he had the ghost-traumatic experience (HAR! pretty clever, aren't I? [I just spelled "I" wrong TWICE]), it turned to, "Oh dear lord this is incredible! I love it when snarky asshole perverts have actual human emotions and experiences, Owen is actually really awesome!" I can't wait to see more of him.
I'm glad to have reviewed what I could! I would have gone back further, but it'd gotten to a point where it felt less that I was perusing for DW/TW fic and more like I was stalking you. ^^ But the ones I found were incredible.

Definitely! That's exactly how I felt. And he does have some great lines as the series goes on.
I keep meaning to go through and make a 'doctor whoniverse' tag, seeing as I actually talk about it quite a lot. I'm glad you liked the fics you read! I find DW quite a difficult show to write fic for - TW is a bit easier, but still sometimes tricky. I think it's partly I find it hard to get voices right.
