Movies movies movies.

I have loads of entries and replies to reply to, I know. (And thanks for all the movie recommendations everyone! They'll definitely keep me occupied for a good long while!) Will do soon. I'm having an early night tonight though. AnotherHad a day off today, which was spent watching movies. I broke my record again. I saw five movies today. ( Read more... )

That's really cheap for the Chronicles. Good buy. I've gone through two sets of them. *g*

And Casablanca is one of my top 4 all-time favorite movies. (I used to have just a top 3, but then Shakespeare in Love came out...) I was going to respond to your call for movie recs, but by the time I saw it, many many other people already had, and I figured you had enough suggestions to last you for a while. And good ones. I would have duplicated ones already there, and I figured, what's the point of that?

I expect I may end up going through this set of Narnia books. My youngest brother has started reading them, and he's far less over-cautious with page-turning than I am. *g*

Yup! The first four films I added to my DVD rental request list were your Top 4. I have Chariots Of Fire on its way now. :)

Ooh, let me know what you think of Chariots of Fire. It's kinda...Christian. But it's also a really great movie, and isn't overly Christian. Because even I don't like overly Christian movies....

lol on the page-turning. My mom likes to bend paperbacks around, which breaks the spine, so if I let her read one of my books, I always have to impress upon her very strongly that I do not want her to break the spine. She finds it amusing that I'm more fastidious with books than she is.

I love the all-day matinee movie thing too. My maximum, however, is three...not as young as I used to be *g*

Hee! Well four is very tiring! After the third my brain was entirely fried and just sitting in front of movies all day had worn me out.

With the Unlimited Movies for £10 thing though, I like to see as many as possible. I think some months it works out that I pay around 75p a movie. *g*

*That was £10 a month. Not £10 single payment. Now *that* would be a deal!

Unlimited movie tickets!!!

...I think I hate you. Maybe it's extreme jealousy that you have 'em and I don't *g*
