This will be my last post of 2004 catch-up, and though obviously two posts can't completely sum up an entire year, these are pretty much the main things that went on in my life in 2004.

LifeBy far the best and most significant thing in my life is that I'm in a relationship with Stacey who I met at the Beta, started IMing with in January, started ( Read more... )

You seem so much mature than you did a year ago. I think the early twenties angst suits you *g* I have every faith that you will get there eventually.

Hee! And thank you! That's a very nice thing to hear. :)

What did you think of the new Manics album by the way? *g* I saw in your livejournal that you went to see them this year... sounds like it was a great gig! My friend and his girlfriend went to that gig and both said it was excellent, which means that there were a decent amount of songs from The Holy Bible played. *g*

Funnily enough I met the girl of my dreams last year too, via the internet - first on my other journal and then via IM chats etc. We're not exactly boyfriend/girlfriend but we seem to have developed a very strong bond with each other. Alas we live in different hemispheres but I'm more on the romantic than physical plain anyway and can relate to her more than any other girl I've known offline.

Nice to see you posting again and I'm glad you're in a happy relationship then. I hardly ever post on LJ nowadays but I keep it for my friends page.

I'm really glad you're in a good relationship too! :)

I'm glad you've kept your LJ around, plus it's only a click away to your other journal, so I'm glad I've been able to read back over some of your entries. I'm really enjoying your favourite movie posts. :) I'm not sure if this will make your list or not, but I know you really enjoy westerns, but I saw The Good, The Bad And The Ugly for the first time tonight, and although I'm usually not a big fan of westerns, I absolutely loved this!

I really want to see Django just because the name. :D

Yeah, all Sergio Leone's westerns are worth checking out. Once Upon A Time In The West in particular.

I didn't care for westerns when I was just a kid so the three Eastwood/Leone ones were about the only ones I bothered to watch usually on TV. Still not really interested in a lot of the pre 60s American ones.

Hiya

Thanks for the congrats, although in truth it's not a movie - it's a 'short film', totalling an impressive three minutes in length. Impressed?

And yes, it's been rather busy.

Congratulations on your 2:1!
Congratulations on you and Stacey. (Is she the person on the beta that I used to see you having huge, long conversations with? I know you used to have huge long conversations with practcally everyone, but there was one person that seemed to get about 10 paragraphs a post, and I remember wondering if there was something extra there. Anyway, whether it's the same person or not - yay! It's so nice to see people from the beta getting together. Aww.)
Anyway, it sounds like things have been very good for you this past year. Hopefully, 2005 will add to that by allowing you to find a job/career that is perfect for you.
