Just some brief thoughts on the new TV season. (No spoilers for anything at all.)

New Shows:
Commander In Chief is my favourite new drama of the year. I'm finding Geena Davies slightly annoying, but Donald Sutherland as Templeton is terrific, and there was just no way I wasn't going to love a drama with a political setting. It's nowhere near as ( Read more... )

Your poor, poor LiveJournal. It gets even more neglected than mine, and that really does say something. What are the chances that you might actually update it in the next, say, decade? :D

50 pounds a week?! Think of all the other things you could do with 50 pounds! Lawyers, guns and money! Gypsies, tramps and thieves!

P.S. I'm sick :D

And as we all know, being sick always leads to quoting Cher songs. *g*

Get well soon! Even if it does mean no more Cher quoting. :D

How many messages before I'm officially spamming you?

I think in this context it would be any large amount of annoying output. I could never find anything you write to be annoying, so you're actually completely incapable of spamming me! Not that you need to try and prove me wrong on this. *g*

It's too bad Kitchen Confidential was canceled. I didn't even get to see it.

How come you never got to see it?

What TV shows do you watch these days?

How is One Tree Hill lately?

I've been so busy lately I haven't watched TV at all in weeks. I swear. I haven't seen One Tree Hill in a month I bet.

I just got Broadband a couple of weeks ago, allowing me to discover the joys of downloading shows etc for myself *g*

Nice to finally see the first half of season two of Battlestar Galactica after months of waiting and reading about it. Currently downloading Smallville season 4 but it's taking ages. Great way of getting caught up with stuff without relying on TV.

It's really, really handy isn't it! With TVs there's always the chance of missing things, things not airing at suitable times, etc. Downloading TV shows makes my television viewing a million times more convenient.

I hope Smallville speeds up for you! There are some terrific episodes in that season.

Thanks. Also it seems like forever since Smallville season 3 was on Channel 4 and yet season 4 showed on E4 ages ago!

I still prefer DVDs for some things (space for one as I can only two episodes on a disc it seems) but downloading's a brilliant way of being able to check out more stuff well before it'd reach the UK in any form. Will have to get round to Veronica Mars at some point. Nice alternative to some of the DVD releases that are inferior to the American versions anyway.
