Well...I made it to my new duty station this morning. I've never flown in a blackhawk before...it was pretty cool...especially right before we landed. We started taking fire so both M-60 gunners just emptied half their ammo into whoever/whatever was shooting at us

Hey Jake, I'm glad you arrived safely. I want you to know I miss you a whole bunch and I'm praying for you all the time. When you get home you're going to have to come visit me in Honolulu, so start planning the trip. I'm leaving Cali again in April. I haven't been able to go see your mom yet but I plan to soon.
