Well that was unexpected. Why did Changmin have to become a spirit? Wait, does that mean that Jaejoong is not dead either? I always thought that he was dead because he failed, but if Changmin is not dead, only a spirit, then that also implies that Jaejoong is not dead either, right? Maybe I got everything wrong^^

A spirit is like a ghost, so both of them are dead, only they are not in the World Where All That Was Is (or the Paradise, if you want to call it that). Jae did die before he could accomplish his ritual, but he decided to stay on Earth as a ghost to help Min defeat Chun.
