If your belief of freedom is a gay pride parade in every street your wrong sheik Duncan. Gay pride parades are forcedly there because of oppressive conservative and christian governments who think gay people are deviants that should be kept as far from our healthy hetero youth as possible

Well yes that's what they were invented for. The Mardi Gras however is pretty much a non-political event. Most of the participants are there simply to cover themselves in glitter and parade down the street half naked in a flamboyant display of gayness.
