Couldn't think of a real post, anyway

If you read this,
even if I don't speak to you often,
you must post a memory of me.
It can be anything you want, it can be good or bad,
just so long as it happened.
Then post this to your journal to see what people remember about you

being that i am the opposite of thoughtin...

(memory incarnate one might call me)

do i really have to narrow it down to one?

and if so, please pick a theme...
happy, sad, drunk, bitchy, or ohm?
also specify whether you would like it to be pertinent or not.
(although we both know that nothing is ever really pertinent)

...cause thougthin that much about memory is so not my job.

umm... you don't have to narrow it down.
It'd be fun to get a page-long Katie memory reply.

One of each?

seeing as im pretty certain there is a size limit for responses, i will attempt to paraphrase. however, in doing so be warned, this is where i typically wax cryptic....
1)outside courtyard thing of your dorm, doped up on dayquil
2)ihop with sean and brandy, and the following infamous speeding ticket
3)hawkewood
a)the drum circle/harem weekend
b)99 with fishbob
4)ren faire
a)my really cold feet that were mightier than your invisible wall
b)round here with bobby mcgee
c)walking you back to camp ready to kill anyone that so much as looked at you funny

and since this could go on for a ways...

how bout categories...

happy - bolivar/galveston last summer
sad - bottle of wine on the back porch end of aprilish
drunk - jackrabbit slims, and im still impressed about the hair thing
bitchy - right after you had that wisdom tooth pulled, on the phone...
ohm - rothko. waterwall in the rain. being trees.

as well as a million and one other things that you know i know, and they dont all need to be here.

whee! That was fun. Mental note: ask Memory to remember things. It's interesting.

You sending 6phantomfire6 to go find a dictionary and look up a word he'd asked for the meaning of.

Totally don't remember doing it, but it sounds like me.
When was this?

Long and long ago -- probably back before we even admitted to dating. You and I were talking about something in your bedroom and he appeared, listened for a bit, and asked you to define a word. You pointed at the bookshelf, he shrugged and pulled out the dictionary, and while he was turned away you smiled at him -- it was an absolutely precious "I have the coolest younger brother in the world and I'm damned if I'm going to let him know he just impressed me" sort of smile.

Coming down to dallas and chilling with me for a day/night/day, specifically just chilling out on the porch and visiting Mr. Gibbs. You need to visit me again!

ah, yes, and finding a well-preserved rodent in your couch. Yup. Good times.

The workforce doesn't offer the kind of flexible timescale that college does.
