The whole "vampire language" business was retarded, I felt like I was listening to that Bantu language from Africa, the one that "clicks" when they speak. I felt they did a really poor job at capturing the genreal aesthetic of the books, there were some vampire characters that were cringe-worthy (and not in a good way). I was laughing more than anything at them (remember the "smiley" one?).

Movie studios need to stop adapting perfectly good stories for the screen and start creating original ones designed for the screen.
Books, textual or graphical, are about characters and story and plot.
Movies are about light and sound and motion.
It's a wonder they ever meet in twain at all.
