I'm excited for the last episode of BSG tonight. I had missed most of the half-season, and I've been quickly catching up over the last few nights; I have one episode before the final one left. My parents have an HD-DVR, though, so I'm recording it and the actual final episode on that and will watch them tonight! It looks like the SCIFI-HD

I find it hard to believe that they will actually manage to tie up all of the leftover mysteries/plot threads in one more episode! Fortunately, I think I've forgotten what a lot of the loose ends are, so maybe I won't miss them too much.

And some of them are, I think, un-resolvable. (Like, say, just how was it that Col. Tigh managed to fight in the first Cylon War?) I think the show is locally brilliant--the mutiny episodes were great, I thought--but I think the overarching "And They Have A Plan" plot is a hopeless mess.

That's a nice way of putting it. I guess I was just kind of hoping it would make sense when we got to the end, or in retrospect when I went back and watched the whole thing again.
