Maybe I will -- but, when we were at AFO, he asked me to take a picture with it and I was such a dweeb... It took four tries for me to get the picture. He was like, "it's ok -- try again".

Thanks -- but, you've got some great pictures -- what are you using?

I have a Canon Powershot 95A 5 MP...all my pictures you see on my entries were taken by my camera......but you can buy ones with 10 MP now. But I am satisfied with my camera. Just make sure when you get one...it is powered by a lithium battery! digital cameras...especially if you use the viewer a lot to look at your pics.....drain batteries!

Vic has a nice camera but his LCD screen does not fold around like mine...so the risk of scratching the screen is higher. If you have a screen that flips around, you can take self pictures and it protects the LCD when not in use.

Thanks so much for that -- all this lingo mumbo jumbo on the camera pages is giving my feeble-mind a headache.

I bought a digital camera SPECIFICALLY to take to the Comic Con in San Diego...and have since then taken it to AFO and Toronto. It's a Canon Powershot A 620. I absolutely LOVE it. It not only takes wonderful pictures, but it also takes video.

If you're looking specificaly for a digital, I suggest going to this website and doing some comparing of models.

That's a great website -- thanks!

The pics in your con report are really nice. So, yours has definitely been added to the list.

BTW, I was looking through my emails, and realized I had forgotten your "R" song -- I'll try to remember it this week, LOL.

I have an older HP digital camera and my other half has a newer Kodak one.

DIGITAL CAMERAS EAT BATTERIES!!! If all you want the camera for is a quick outing somewhere, your friendly disposable 35 mm flash camera still works the best and fastest.

Nothing against digital convenience, but nothing beats old fashioned film on clarity and speed of use any day.

You know, you are right about that. I had a real hard time with the thought of getting a digital, for a while -- mostly because of the blurrrrrryyyyy pictures.

I am succumbing to the computer age, though. I want to be able to post my pics and make some more goofball videos with the girls. My current filmaker is really busy with school, and things. So, she has a hard time editing our stuff, LOL (remember the Travis at animenext video, rotfl).

Then, there's the little issue of my procrastination when it comes to film developing, *eh-hem*....

To comment on that...we have both. We own a really nice Canon Rebel...and have different lenses, filters, the works. But when I don't want to lug around 90 millions pieces, the huge camera bag and switch out things and just take a freakin' picture, the digital is a blessing. Not to mention...INSTANT GRATIFICATION!!! I can keep the ones I want....delete the ones I don't.

We save the Rebel for the more professional pictures, or when the hubby wants to play Mr. Photographer. While we are very "old school" with the SLR...I do love being able to throw the digital in a bag for Cons or a day with friends or whatever.

And...mine uses 4 double A batteries. I've only had to change them once...and that was during AFO when I was taping video like a mad woman...

Instant gratification is what I like, too! I guess I want to get an unusual amount of optical zoom, too. What's yours?
