1. Respond with something random about you. 2. Tell you which color you remind me of. You used to wear a sort of camo-green skirt a lot. That color. 3. Tell you my first memory of you. A lot of sort of blurry time in the theater department. Those days in the lobby outside of Robin's office become a blur of noise and laughter and flouncing. 4. Tell you what animal you remind me of. Perhaps a koala, or a rabbit. 5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you. Was CSW an overall enjoyable experience? Looking back, I can't tell if it was mostly horrid, or mostly great for you. 6. Tell you my favorite thing about you. Your crooked smile, and your ability to rally people around you. 7. Tell you my least favorite thing about you. I always had a hard time getting inside of your head. I never really knew what you were thinking, so I would just blunder off in a direction thinking it was the right one, and then come to a screeching halt in some unnoticed metaphorical alleyway. 8. Challenge you to post this on your journal.
It definitely was. I think freshman year - i.e. the time CSW overlapped for us - was a very, very mixed bag. And if they'd all been like that, I probably would have a different answer. But without that crazy first year, my next three probably wouldn't have been as good, you know?
I used to think it was really easy to know what I was thinking. So I thought your misunderstanding was because of lack of effort, or caring, or an intention to hurt me/reject me. Now I've realized that what I used to think was written all over my face is far from that :)
Thanks for trying, though. I used to really resent you, but I realize that all the things you did that hurt me so much were mostly if not completely unintentional. It's surprisingly nice to hear that you didn't think you did right by me. I never knew if you even... well, noticed. Thank you. For noticing.

You know, 'm not sure. It feels like I have known you as long as I have been at Bennington, but logically we must have had a first meeting at some point. I am sure that I will remember it later and feel embarrassed. 4. Tell you what animal you remind me of. Perhaps some variety of excitable pony. 5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you. Why if you want to be a pastor did you decide to come to Bennington? I'm sure you get this a lot, but I don't recall an answer :p Actually, it is probably hearing you sing while I moved into Noyes. 6. Tell you my favorite thing about you. I like your strong tendency towards positivity. It seems to help keep everyone going. 7. Tell you my least favorite thing about you.
