Dude, totally. I'm looking forward to it. The belly button didn't hurt AT ALL. I'm sure you'll have no problem with it, considering you had the guts to get what I'd imagine to be much more painful places pierced.
The only other thing I'm seriously considering getting pierced is my nose. I'm not sure if you have that pierced, but if you do- does it hurt and is it much maintenance? Oh yeah, and do you have any tattoos? I'm getting one on my lower back, I think. I haven't picked one out yet, though.
I do have my nose pierced--suprise, suprise right? :)
It didn't hurt at all. Honestly, my cartilage was MUCH more painful. The maintanence is non-existant. It's adorable, and I can't even feel it in my nose. It's not annoying, and blowing my nose is not painful. You'll love it!
Yep, I've got tattoos. The one on my lower back wasn't terribly painful--when the needle went over my spine is when it was most painful. Overall, it was a suprisingly unpainful experience. It just felt like someone was rubbing a dull pencil tip over my skin. Not bad at all, and pretty much half an hour after I got it done, the pain was gone and I was hot and tattooed.
I can't wait to hang out either! You can come with me when I get my lip pierced :)
Did you get your cartilage done with a gun or an acutal needle? I got mine with the gun at Claire's because my boyfriend got it done at a piercing place with the needle and he had to get drunk that night to numb the pain. Then it hurt like a mother for months after. So that scared me away from doing it that way. But my cartilage didn't hurt at all.
What part of your lip are you getting pierced? My boyfriend had his labret pierced and said there was a significant amount of pain (he let it close cause it got infected but is getting it re-done next months), and his friend got his lip pierced on the side and I think said it hurt a bit, but I'm not sure. Now that I'm Captain Runonsentences...
Anyway, you say the nose doesnt hurt and some people say it does, so again, I guess it depends on the person. I don't really mind the pain of piercings though (obviously), so I'm sure I can handle it. When you go get your lip pierced, maybe I'll get my nose pierced. How much did it cost?

It's funny that I've pierced practically everything else on my body, and saved practically the most common piercing for last. Hah.
I certainly hope that we will hang out when you get up to UCF. I'll have to visit my old room ya know, for the memories and all :)
