I can't get too upset at stupid Shawn being a good option for Kurt because of the sheer intensity of feeling Kurt had when he heard Blaine humming--he loves him too much to try and stop being with him, right? Right?! Kurt needs to see Blaine's potential areas of growth, and I hope that arrangement with the professor helps with that.
