On being oblivious
I like to think I'm a pretty perceptive person, but the reality is that I'm wrong.
I had the biggest 'WTF self' moment last night when it finally dawned on me (and by 'dawned on me', I mean 'was pointed out by someone else') that Harry Potter's eyes in movie!verse are blue because that is, in fact, the colour of Daniel Radcliffe's eyes.

I don't generally pay any attention to the HP trailers because I gave up watching the movies somewhere around Prisoner of Azkaban. But the trailers for Deathly Hallows look *awesome* and if - IF - the actors manage to, y'know, act in these last two installments, the movies should be things of beauty.
