Awww, Mike. ;_; That used to happen to me, random people I hardly knew (distant friends of friends or, like, people that I'd met at a con once ninetyjillion years and thirty pounds ago) would get onto AIM and be like, "Bloooo, I know we don't know each other, but you're a nice girl and I'm sure you want to listen to my problems, blooooo~"

I'm trying to remember how I got it to stop, but... I can't remember. o_O I don't think I became particularly bitchy or anything. I guess I just stopped responding with advice in full sentences and started responding with, "Aww," or "That's no fun."

Does it bother you or are you just commenting that it's interesting? Seriously, hearing that an ex came to you like, "I'm having man troubles, so tell me I'm pretty and make me feel good about myself!" really steams my broccoli. Sheesh! Boundaries! I hope she'll take up any problems with her current boyfriend with... y'know. HER CURRENT BOYFRIEND. XD

Well, this sort of phenonema has been occuring to me since grade school so by now I'm quite used to it. It's just interesting how it keeps going on and on. I guess it doesn't bother me much - it normally doesn't at all - but at the moment with everything going on and about 20 people asking me for advice in the past 2 weeks alone... I couldn't help but thinking how it happens so I could just temporarily "shut" them up for the time being @_@ ::chuckles:: "Shoo fly... don't bother me" (as the old saying goes XD)
