Awww, don't limit yourself too much, vacation-wise! I mean, yeah, money, ew. But you don't get many chances for a vacation, so don't waste 'em! ^_^ I like planning trips and I get bored sometimes, so if you want, let me know some places you like (from "could be ok" to "OMG, FRIGGIN' AWESOME") and your approximate budget and I'll do some diggin'. ^_^

... honestly, I'm just still buzzing from Japan and want everyone in the universe to be happy, too. XD

I just might take you up on that. But then, I've never looked at going abroad as fun when it's just solo. It's always more fun when someone's there to enjoy it with you, ya know?

True that. I probably wouldn't have planned a Japan trip without a travelin' buddy. Boo, I wish Dan and I had more vacation time saved up -- we could invade Great Britain and have a grand old time!

Congrats on the new job!! That is awesomeness! Finally being able to do what you love (not to mention a higher salary) is such a blessing! :D

I never cared about Death Note... but after going to ACEN, where there were so many L cosplayers (at the time I didn't know they were cosplaying...I thought they were all really weird emo kids or something ^^;) So this weekend I finally decided to read a chapter of the manga... and now I'm addicted! I'm almost halfway through the series now, chapter forty-something.

I think you would like it. It's very psychological, the whole "cat and mouse" struggle between the main characters. Maybe now you'll have time to relax with a book now and then ^.~

Well, I found out the details on the second raise - so once I make sure the retro pay is correct, I'm going to go over my first draft of vacation days. At the moment, I'm thinking either slightly before or slightly after Otakon. Unless I postpone it till our birthdays or somesuch.
