That night in Acapulco. You were scouting locations for your next film; I was scouting locations for sweet forgetfulness...

But seriously.

The evening last December, when you were kind enough to squire me on my frantic Xmas shopping expedition since the redheads were occupied and/or away. There was dinner and there was silliness and there was a Wonder Woman doll for my niece, and then there were other entertainments, but what makes it a memory is how you look when you're completely relaxed and happy--something I have only been fortunate enough to see a bare couple of times.

Before we started talking a lot, I never used AIM. Ever. Then, we were randomly PMing each other about RPG stuff, and you suggested that it might be easier to talk on AIM. Up until then, I had only ever used Yahoo! Messenger, so I had to pick a quick screenname for AIM.

So, kudos to you, Dario. Extra kudos to you.

I remember the first time we talked. You were like, "Hey, I have this story and I want you to critique it. I'm tired of people kissing my ass." I was really taken aback by how blunt you were. :)
