I just want to point out that xkcd is particularly unfunny today. It's in the format of a Dane Cook joke. "What if [insert extremely unlikely scenario] happened? Dude, that would be hilarious!"

I am also sad because it's the the 2^9 comic on the site, and it sucks hard. (Although 2^8 is pretty classic.)

Nah.
I found it funny, but that's because I think there's a lot of useless things I do or have with some kind of random "just in case" justification that I never explain to people.

I found that one funnier (due to the punchline) than most xkcd's recently. Heck, a funny one is rare nowadays.
