You still have to put applications in everywhere. Finding a job is hard, even in the good times, but that doesn't mean you should just not bother. You can try for unemployment, but I am not sure it will work. :( I'm sorry, buddy. I've seen lots of hiring signs everywhere I've gone, though, so there are still jobs out there. Take whatever you can find.

I know the sushi place on Tate is hiring, definitely. You may need to nail down two part-time jobs to be able to keep your place. I would definitely try for unemployment and just keep looking. In a pinch, sell your plasma, or anything you think would be worth something on eBay. Anything beats truckstop handjobs.
