Spies get no privacy, Dorcas learned that fast. Despite the fact that she was constantly putting her life on the line, they didn’t trust her. This was most apparent when she found Gideon and Fabian looking over a letter she had just posted. “What are you doing?”
“What are you doing?” Fabian asked, holding the letter, “writing a Death Eater?”
“That has nothing to do with spying.” Gideon added. “It’s a love letter.”
Dorcas tore the letter out of Fabian’s hands, and pressed it to her chest. “Regulus is my best friend. Do you have to make everything about betrayal?”
