I don't know how to make someone fond of LA (I'm sure not) but these are some cool things that are there ( ... )

Oooh-thank you! I will have a car, and will definitely put these on my List, particularly the abandoned zoo. That calls for pics, I think :-)

No problem! I had to learn to like LA myself when I lived there so I hope you find some of these things worth seeing :)

The zoo is a little complicated to find but there are people who've written up directions on the internet and those are pretty easy to follow.

Oh, a trip. I hope you will find some nice places and have a great time despite your dislike of LA. And since I also like to watch the evidence of other people's travel, I do hope you will take many pictures and share it on LJ.
