When all is right, and the moon is bright The demons come out and dance at night They jump and howl and sing things foul Spitting invectives they renew their vows To serve the one who hates the sun By spreading evil to everyone They cut and curse this mother’s earth Until a rhythm beats in verse And when the chants no longer rant They slow their song and slow their pant And quickly drift as each one shifts For the hunter has come to spoil their fun With daggers ablaze and claws aflying He lays them out, falling and crying You can see it in his eyes, ice and fire Loving to kill, a beastly desire Is this hunter any better than those slain? He with rippled clothes, covered and stained? Is he in fact the Warrior of Gold, Was that what you were told?

The demons come out and dance at night
They jump and howl and sing things foul
Spitting invectives they renew their vows
To serve the one who hates the sun
By spreading evil to everyone
They cut and curse this mother’s earth
Until a rhythm beats in verse
And when the chants no longer rant
They slow their song and slow their pant
And quickly drift as each one shifts
For the hunter has come to spoil their fun
With daggers ablaze and claws aflying
He lays them out, falling and crying
You can see it in his eyes, ice and fire
Loving to kill, a beastly desire
Is this hunter any better than those slain?
He with rippled clothes, covered and stained?
Is he in fact the Warrior of Gold,
Was that what you were told?
