Haley is outside occupying a chair and popping grapes in her mouth. It's a special skill being able to throw them in the air and catch them in your mouth. Must be the little things that make you feel like you never left home

Inara was exploring, as she had been for the past few days. She seemed to have the current layout of the place well memorized, though according to River, it did change. How strange.
For now, she wanted to step outside. At least the sand and arid climate would remind her of something she knew. There were planets in her consciousness that were this dry. She could cling to a hope they were on one of them.
As she raised her skirt so as not to step on it and the threshold, though, she heard a faint noise from the corner. A girl was folded into a chair, and Inara blinked. "Sorry. Didn't know anyone was here."
"It's alright. I don't mind sharing if you don't."
She gave a slight smile. The girl seemed pretty dressed up for this place. She must be new. You know, when you still feel like making an effort to look pretty, still have some optimism. Now, Haley, she's just rolling out of bed, taking a shower, and putting on a hoodie and shorts, but then again, dresses were never really her thing to begin with.
Inara managed a slight smile as well, though she was never certain how to talk to women. Men, of course, were easy. But she couldn't charm most women. They seemed to fall into the old trap of seeing her as a whore simply because of her profession, even more so than men (or Mal) ever did.
Still, she figured her name couldn't hurt. "My name is Inara Serra. I've only been here about one week." Why not try to see if this really was Earth-that-Was, or if Sam and Dean were just mad. She loved River, of course, but of all people to participate in a huge game of pretend, River would be one of the first.
"Haley Graham. I've been here far too long. I think it's three months now?"
She shrugged, popping another grape in her mouth. Inara...she hadn't heard that name before. It must be from another world. They're all from another world. She had yet to run into Frank or Poot. Hell, she'd even be grateful for Joanna at this point.
