Everything seems to be moving forward. I still don't feel like I am in control, but at least I'm not stagnating. I moved out of Jesse's apartment, which kind of sucked, but I didn't have the money and it wouldn't have been right to impose myself upon him or go into debt with him

I guess it depends on what you take my opinion for on these matters, but though you think it's a step back moving in with the folks, it should really help you to prepare for when you're really ready to move out.
