Going to Dragon*Con, anyone else?

So I have our tickets for D*C, and I really am hoping all goes well for me for the next month so I can enjoy my first time there. But now I am wondering, is anyone else out there going? James and Juliette are both confirmed, and I was so hoping to meet other fans, as the fan base here is lacking in a huge way......

Anyway, duh, I forgot to mention the fact that I have chapters 21,22,and 23 up of "Hero" and chapter 3 of "Invited." Sorry. You don't have to read them right this instant, but I figured I'd let you know!!

Gah, lucky you! No, I wish I could but the money is just not there. Not to mention my hubby and best friend (guy) really don't wanna go. My neice and I are gonna be prowling the convention by ourselves, but he said no to the concert by ourselves thing, I dont blame him (neice is only just turned 16) he is just trying to keep us safe. I hope ya'll have a good time! And if ya'll do decide to hit the con on a day ticket let me know I would love to meet both of you in person!!!

okay, I've thought about it. I would like to go...if it was really possible for me to go. Really. But it's just not. I appreciate the offer and everything, but I'm going to have to decline. I've thought it over all day and it's just not going to work. I mean, I don't think I'll be able to come up with money for food and whatever else. My parent's probably won't be willing to shell out money right now (even if they could) and I don't have a job. Plus, I really hate to leave Jacob here. He's not going to be able to take out time out of the last week of August becuase he was just out for a week. I don't want to leave him because that's not fair. If you are able to get the ticket, give it to Jimmy. Since you already know he's wanting to and able to go, it will really help him out.

I'm sure this won't be the last cool con we all will have a chance to go on (even if it takes a few years), so don't worry. You guys have fun, take pics, and let us know everything.
